TWO RIVERS CONSTRUCTION ADVISORS
EXPERIENCE • INTEGRITY • RESULTS
Construction Experience. Independent Advice. Better Outcomes.

Construction Doesn't Have to Take Over Your Life.

Construction projects involve a lot of moving parts — decisions, schedules, contractors, costs, changes and unexpected problems. Two Rivers helps you stay ahead of them.

Two Rivers isn't here to take over your project — the goal is to make sure the project doesn't take over you.

Where Two Rivers Fits

⌂

Planning & Project Development

Define what you want, set priorities, understand existing conditions and surface questions early. We build a realistic scope, talk budget expectations and prepare the project for contractor proposals — as defined as possible before anyone prices it.

≡

Contractor Selection & Bid Review

Identify and evaluate contractors, attend walkthroughs, and compare bids for completeness, allowances, exclusions, schedule assumptions and change-order risk. You choose the contractor — with better information.

◉

Construction Oversight & Owner Representation

Scheduled site visits, progress observations and photos, schedule review, early problem identification and regular updates. Just as important, looking ahead—watching upcoming work, decisions, materials and project dependencies for potential conflicts or delays before they become bigger problems. You remain the owner; the contractor still builds. Two Rivers helps both sides work better together.

✓

Project Closeout

Final walkthroughs, punch-list organization, documentation of outstanding items, review of remaining work, and organizing warranties, manuals and project documentation.

A Resource, Not a Gatekeeper

The owner and contractor have their own relationship and should be able to communicate directly. Two Rivers doesn't replace that relationship. Instead, Two Rivers provides a place where questions, concerns and decisions can be brought early — before they become bigger issues.

A contractor may need an owner decision. An owner may not understand why something changed. A potential problem may simply need to be talked through before anyone decides there is a problem. That's where Two Rivers helps.

There Isn't One Way to Use Two Rivers

Every project is different. Some owners want help developing a project from the beginning. Some already have plans and a contractor and simply want an experienced second set of eyes. Some want someone involved throughout construction. Others want help only when something comes up. You don't have to buy everything.

Start-to-Finish

Involved from early planning through closeout on a complex or long-duration project.

Phase by Phase

Bring Two Rivers in for the phase that matters most — bid review, oversight, or closeout.

On Call

An experienced second opinion when a question, change or problem comes up.

The goal isn't to sell you the most service. The goal is to determine what level of involvement will actually provide value on your project.

Experience & Project Types

Practical Experience Behind Every Project.

Two Rivers is a new company built on more than 20 years of construction experience. Rather than fill this page with stock photography, we'll let real Two Rivers projects build this portfolio over time.

Residential

Remodeling & Additions

Hands-on residential construction experience, practical project planning, scope development and an experienced second set of eyes for owners making decisions about their homes.

Waterfront

Floating Homes & Docks

Experience building and repairing floating homes, docks and waterfront structures, with the unusual access, coordination and changing conditions that come with building and maintaining homes on the water.

Complex Field Work

Civil & Marine Construction

Years of leadership on demanding civil, marine, public and private projects involving multiple trades, engineers, owners and schedules—on land, on the water and underwater. Experience working where actual conditions don't always match what was expected on paper, and where the next decision has to be based on what is really happening in the field.

The Portfolio Will Grow With the Company.

As Two Rivers projects are completed — and where owners are comfortable sharing them — this page will become a visual record of planning, field observations, progress and finished work. Until then, the focus stays where it belongs: on the experience and judgment brought to your project.

About Two Rivers

Built From Experience. Focused on the Owner.

Two Rivers Construction Advisors grew from a simple idea: homeowners deserve experienced construction guidance on their side of the project.

Construction can become complicated quickly. Plans change. Questions come up. Budgets move. Different trades and professionals need to work together, and owners are often asked to make important decisions about things they may have never dealt with before.

We bring practical construction experience, project management, planning and field judgment to the owner's side of residential construction. The goal isn't to add another layer between you and your contractor. It's to help everyone communicate better, identify questions earlier, keep good information moving and help you make informed decisions about your project.

We're not here to take over your project. We're here to help make sure the project doesn't take over you.

About the Owner

I've spent more than 20 years in construction, but my experience hasn't followed just one path. I've worked hands-on in residential remodeling and additions, led crews building and repairing floating homes and docks, and spent much of my career in commercial diving, heavy civil and marine construction.

That grew into supervising crews, coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors, and becoming a project manager—managing schedules and budgets, working with engineers and owners, and leading multimillion-dollar civil and marine projects involving demanding schedules, multiple trades and changing field conditions.

My leadership style is collaborative. Different people see the same problem from different angles. I want those perspectives on the table. Listen to the people who know their work, weigh the information, make a decision and keep moving. On an owner's project, the final decision belongs to the owner.

I want the owner to come first. I want clients to feel comfortable asking questions, understand what they're being asked to decide, and stay as involved in their project as they want to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear Answers Before We Start.

Are you my general contractor?

No. Two Rivers works on the owner's side as an independent construction advisor and project resource. The contractor remains responsible for its construction work, means, methods and workmanship.

Will you get between me and my contractor?

No. The owner and contractor should be able to communicate directly. Two Rivers is a resource where questions, concerns and decisions can be brought early so both sides have better information.

Do I have to hire Two Rivers for the whole project?

No. You can use Two Rivers start-to-finish, phase by phase, or on call. Full-project owner representation is also available as a project-specific fixed-fee package.

Can you join a project that's already underway?

Yes. Two Rivers can join at any stage. Some orientation and catch-up may be needed first so advice is based on the actual project history and current conditions.

What happens if more work is needed than we originally discussed?

It gets discussed first. Work outside the agreed scope is authorized before additional fees are incurred.
